Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson was born in Mexico to a family of musicians. The majority of her early years listening to music from the past, boleros from the past, ranchero traditional or romantic songs and classic classical music. Ana is passionate about tangos and opera, along with all dramatic performances. Her mother taught her to sing, however she started intensive training in vocals through Flavio Belcerra, who was 16 at the time when the singer was famous as a Mexican opera Tenor. Music lessons continued throughout the School of Music of Guadalajara University. Then, she enrolled in an institution called the School of Sacred Music of Toluca. In Guadalajara as well as Mexico City, she was part of a variety of opera choruses and chamber ensembles. She sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus in the United States before moving to Southern California. She is currently a member of Ensemble XXI of Redlands and is a frequent solo performer of classical Latin American music at private events. as a music teacher and musician, she is committed to numerous community projects due to her enthusiasm and love for music. Ana has also been a former member of the Community Chorus of Redlands, the Inland Master Chorale, and the Performance Loft. Ana is a fan of classic Latin American songs and hopes that she can inspire others to do the same.
